Yesterday, I along with millions of other people, watched the Saints put a whoppin’ on the Colts.
Yes, I expected Manning to lead his team to Victory and voiced my opinion to thousands of people across the web. We’ll, I was wrong. And Drew Brees and the Saints clearly had a different outcome for the game in their minds.
Four years ago, when Brees moved to the Saints, he dared to believe the impossible. People thought he was “crazy” for dreaming and believing the Saints could do something they had never done before. And yesterday, millions witnessed his dream become reality….Superbowl Champions for the first time.
The Saints were playing to “Win”, and demonstrated conviction with gutsy calls that gave them the momentum to conquer the Colts. Yesterday’s performance was a prime example of the Quality of a Champion.
What is that Quality?
Simply put… it’s The Refusal to Give Up!
The Saints made a decision that no matter what happened during the game, they would not give up. They decided that nothing would stop them. They would find a way to win.
That’s what it takes…a decision to go on no matter what happens… no matter what the cost. It makes no difference if it is football, Option Trading, or any other area of life, this is the biggest component necessary to succeed.
The Refusal to Give Up!
After training hundreds of people how to trade options successfully, I’m always disturbed by the few that slip through the cracks. Those with enormous abilities and unbelievable potential, and never realize the freedom that they desire.
Most of the time, they fall away right at the moment they’re about to cross the threshold (the goal line)! They let something capture their attention, and pull them away from what they want most and sadly, never resume the course to Win.
So how do you get the Quality of a Champion?
How do you make this a basic philosophy for your life?
Study, hang around, and learn from those who have this quality. Regardless if it’s an athlete, business person, or trader until it becomes something that is burning inside of YOU!
As far as Manning and the Colts go…don’t count’em out…Peyton Manning has shown in the past that he has this quality, and I’m sure he’s not going to roll over and cry “Uncle”.
Talk Soon,
Jeffrey
I watched the game last night and I thought it was amazing. It seemed like the Colts dominated every part of the game, but the score told otherwise. It was the crucial mistake by Manning of throwing that one pick that sealed the deal for the Saints.
Now, I’m not a Saints fan, but I enjoyed seeing the Saints pull it off.
Couldn’t agree more!
