Every month traders from my membership site compete for the coveted All Star of the Month award.
July was no different…
July’s All Star of the month is Jay Jacovitz, and his wife Lisa from Connecticut.
Lisa and I have been together as a couple for 30 years and will enjoy 27 years of marriage in December of this year. Under the theory of opposites attract, except for core values, we could not be more different. Lisa was an Ivy Leaguer with a career in hospital administration, and I was in business, construction and manufacturing.
Some 25 years ago, opportunity knocking steered me into the direction of the commercial printing and direct mail industry where I took advantage of Lisa’s organizational abilities that are the equivalent of three people and convinced her to come work side by side in what was then a new venture for us both, and there we stayed for the ensuing years with a profitable livelihood.
The tragedy that we have all come to know as 9/11 along with the anthrax scare sent shock waves though our industry causing approximately 25% of industry participants out of business in a short period of time and the remaining traversing in an unprofitable environment.
We needed to change our business career. My wife and I were self-employed very successfully for over 20 years. Changes in our industry along with economic events dictated that we seek a change before we were forced to.
Well, we wanted to remain self-employed in a field with unlimited potential that did not take a great deal of money to put at risk in the way of rent, inventory, insurances, employees and the list goes on.
Along with our several websites, that answer came by way of the “fastest game in town”. Trading market futures –specifically the S&P E-mini’s. We learned the hard way…through trial and error, and yes, we did make a lot of mistakes…some of which were costly. We worked very hard to educate ourselves and before we knew it we were participating in the fastest game in town looking forward to a financially rewarding income that met all of our criteria, wants and needs. The bad part was it was very attention-intensive and not without considerable stress and RISK. However the need for a substantial, viable income became much more urgent beyond anything we could have foreseen.
Failure for us could not be an option and time was more than of the essence.
Over time and experience, I became aware of a way to take our gained knowledge and apply it elsewhere for a better, saner and SAFER all-around result.
I knew the time was right, but I wasn’t willing to settle on just anyone to dispense the information I needed to get us where we needed to be. I wanted someone highly experienced and with a track record of success. I wanted someone who understood the importance of preserving and growing the wealth we were willing to work hard to accumulate. I wanted someone who did not pretend to know but actually knew the secret to amassing a personal fortune in any type of market.
The secret I allude to is only a secret if you are not familiar with the strategy and there are not many people who know the strategies who are willing to teach you. And, did I ever find the right man for the job… Through Jeff’s personal trial and error, he has developed a set of guidelines known as the All Star Trading Plan. With the passing and then implementation of this valuable information to the willing student it becomes the launching pad to success.
We will always be grateful for Jeff Ziegler and we send him our blessings. With Jeff’s continued tutelage this story is on its way for the best possible outcome.
JAZ: Outstanding Job Lisa and Jay…This is just the beginning for YOU. When you put in the effort you will reap the reward….
